PRAYER POINTS FOR HURRICANE AFTERMATH...
In times of disasters!

As Christians look for ways to help in the aftermath of a Hurricane, we encourage fervent and wholehearted prayer for the great needs that follow in the wake of this disaster.  The following are suggested prayer points that will inform you prayers. We encourage you to distribute these prayer needs to your circle of friends and family.

• Wisdom for President George W Bush & his cabinet as they formulate and implement response

• Healing and health for the injured, ill and elderly

• Wisdom and strength for relief workers and law enforcement officials

• Consolation for those who have lost loved ones and those whose loved ones are missing

• Smooth evacuation of residents to the Astrodome in Houston

• A stop to the looting and a spirit of lawfulness on the part of all

• Restoration of electricity and water supplies, willingness to conserve by all

• Aid to those still needing basics of food and water

• Cooperation and communication between federal, state and local agencies

• That people will reach out more than ever before to God!

• That people will not take Christianity for granted!?

These point came out the effects of hurricane KATRINA!
 

Looking for a man  that should make up the hedge!

And I sought for a man among them that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. (Ezekiel 22:30) 
God has always sought for a man—even one man to stand in the gap and build a hedge to turn away evil from men and their nation or area—and has been disappointed in many generations and with many nations! Can He find a man with influence enough to turn away the evil from his land? Can He find a man with influence enough to turn the hearts of the people away from sin and back to Him, so judgment had to fall? Instead of encouraging the people to repent and turn to God in the time like these, the so many Christians with name would not stand in the gap.  Instead, they caused the people to hope in things which would bring the judgment of God and resulting in the ruin of this nation!

By sin the people had stripped themselves of the protection of God, and they lay exposed to the foe. We as Christians are responsible for the nation being encouraged in rebellion against God and follow the imagination and lies of the enemy!?

"Divide the spoils of the mighty," referring to His mighty victory over satan and all supernatural powers against God! He shares the blessings of victory with His followers who become joint-heirs with Him (Romans 8:17-18).
 

A serious storm of wind and they were in jeopardy! 

And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.  And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.  And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.  But the men marveled, saying, what manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him! (Matthew 8:23-27) 

This must have been caused by satan to kill Yeshua, the Messiah! (Ephesians 2:2).  Yeshua would not have rebuked God if He had sent this storm.  satan is the prince of the power of the air and can cause storms by the permission of God (Job 1:12-19; Ephesians 2:1-3).

“Hush!  Be still!  Who caused the squall? “

There came down a serious storm of winds on the lake; and they were in jeopardy!  Again, the question of faith in God is before us. To have fear is to lack faith in God and His providence! When men are baptized in the Holy Spirit in all fullness, such manifestation of power is normal to those who are anointed with the Spirit (John 3:34); who have the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:4-11), and who have faith in God! This is one of the most important questions of life. If one has faith he can get anything from God!
 

Florida's Hurricanes!

In the year 2000 the eyes of the nation and even the world was on Florida for the presidential election, and than the eyes of the nation are on us again for a different reason. For Florida, it has been a season of despair, frustration, and anxiety during summer 2004! You could literally feel and sense this in the atmosphere over the state.  (Source of these Pictures: www.Baynews9.com )

Florida has been hit hard by the four hurricanes that have battered this state this last summer 2004 (which affected our homes!) and it was time now for refreshing and renewal! The atmosphere was shifting toward an awakening within this state and nation.  With the focus on the state, because of the hurricanes; we in Florida must continue to be awake and change the spiritual atmosphere! (3 of them crossed Polk-County! Hurricane Jeanne came across in a 3 & 2 norm Hurricane-force!)
This was an unusual season that Florida was in. Everything in this state was shifted physically, emotionally, and even spiritually. Since the (4) hurricanes there has loomed over Florida a spirit of anxiety, frustration, and despair. Our heart goes out to those who have suffered great loss. People in all the places where, Charley, Frances, Ivan, and Jeanne did their most destruction and some have lost everything, which has left them with a feeling of being disconnected! 

With many in the body trying to define the source of these storms, (which most of the Major Prophets have been silent about!?) did we had forgot about our response to the Lord!?  He wants us to "Lift up Our Eyes" and look to Him.  Yeshua or Jesus wept over Jerusalem because of their lack of response and not recognizing their day of visitation.  (Luke 19:41-44)  The thing here is to reveal scriptures  not about judgment but about our responding to Yeshua!

No matter what the source of the hurricanes our response should be still the same. Worship, Repentance, Intercession & Compassion!  Worship keeps us in the Presence of the King, Repentance causes us to think like the King, and Intercession causes us intervene in the heavens and earth with the King, and Compassion is the heart of the King. What should our response be?

Worship 

As church we have to worship  the Lord over the state of Florida. (Psalm 138:1-2)

While he was still speaking, another also came and said, "Your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother's house, and suddenly a great wind came from across the wilderness and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell on the young men, and they are dead; and I alone have escaped to tell you."  Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head, and he fell to the ground and worshiped.  (Job 1:18-20)

Humility & Repentance

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.  (II Chronicles 7:14)   Humility before the Lord in the first place and in response of convenience repentance is following concerning our changing how we think and change thinking like the Lord's.  It doesn't mean you are bad it simply mean to change how you think and (re)-turn to the Lord!

Intercession

Worship shifts our hearts, takes us into the heavens, where we can hear the our King of Kings. It’s from this place that we govern and rule in the heavens and earth."Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain; and it did not rain for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the sky poured rain, and the earth produced its fruit. "(James 5:17-18) What a change! Let’s change the earth (Florida) again!

Compassion

Then Jesus Called His disciples to Him and said, "I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now continued with Me three days and have nothing to eat.  And I do not want to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way."  (Matthew 15:32)

Worship and Prayer Strategies!

1.  Move into a place of worship.  During this time we must be in Awe of the Lord. Moving into a place of worship.
2.  Proclaim Psalm 91!  Declare that Florida will dwell in the Holy place of the Most High and dwells in the Shadow of the Almighty. Proclaim all of Psalm 91 over you family, your property, your church! So that no evil thing will come nigh your dwelling!
3.  Decree Ezekiel 37.  Proclaim and Pray that Florida will align with the purposes of God and that the Breath of God will come from the four winds and Breath on this state.
7. Those of you who have dancers let them help shift the atmosphere and dance as David did when the Ark of the Covenant came into Jerusalem.  (2 Samuel 6:13-15) and lift up a joyful shout unto the Lord.  Make a joyful shout to God all the earth. (Florida) Sing out the honor of His name; make His praise glorious.  Say to God, "How awesome are Your works!  Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You. (Psalm 66:1-2)

Continue Worship Warfare!

The Lord has given a strategy to worship Him in "the face of other gods".  (Little g!)  Psalms 138:1-2 is the key of authority in this season that the Lord has given us for Florida.  "I will praise You with my whole heart; before the gods I will sing praises to You.  I will worship toward Your holy temple, and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and Your truth..."  Our worship within this state is helping to restore the Tabernacle of David, calling Florida to a new level of intercession, known as "worship warfare", preparing the atmosphere for harvest, and releasing the favor of the Lord over the entire state!

 Hurricane season will always be a threat for Florida!

You a have authority in this state!  Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

A Distraction?!

One of the things that hurricanes did was to distract us from our work of worship, intercession, making decrees and the like.  It was putting us into a “hurricane mode” instead of a "God's fearing" attitude!  Part of the purpose of the enemy is to force our focus from God's Purpose to our survival attitude! Worship does bring us in realign with God into His into His sanctuary!  When Job heard of the entire calamity that had happened to him and his family, he fell to ground and worshipped. (Job 1:20)

Continue Worshipping!

Continue (persevering) worshipping the Lord that will bring you have in the authority to move into the heavens! Once in the heavens we can hear what the Lord's voice and then begin to make those declarations from the heavens into the earth realm.  (See Revelations 4:1)  We worship and warfare from the heavens not from the earth.

Declarations!

"You will also decree a thing and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your way!" (Job 22:28) The Hebrew word for thing is Omer and it means a decree, a purpose, and a plan. As we move into the heavens through worship we begin to hear the declarations of our King. He issues these declarations from His throne to us so that we can make declarations from the heavens into the earth, so that they are established within the earth! However we can only make declarations with authority the declarations He is making!  So as you enter into worship within the heavens hear the decrees of the King and decree those.
 

Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against
the wiles of the devil!

In Ancient times in Israel there were times that there was no man qualified to govern, lead, and bring about the necessary reformation that would save the nation! Also there was no man to pray whom God would hear. Therefore, God decided to intervene—to bring the nation to its senses and save those that would submit to His program. To do this He would take the armor of righteousness and salvation, and the garments of zeal and vengeance (Isaiah 59:17). This will bring about the salvation, the fear of and glory to God's name in all parts of the earth (Isaiah 59:19). 
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4)  Referring to the Holy Spirit indwelling the believer! The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error is satan!

We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the Spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. (1 John 4:6) 

And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, (Ephesians 1:22) 

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: (Ephesians 6:10-17)
 

God did not send us to destroy our possessions here in Florida!
-Testimony-
(10 September 2004)

During the gusty winds under the "eye" of Hurricanes {(1) Frances &  the "eye" of Hurricane (2) Jeanne} here at my Lakeland (Florida) home & Ministry office, I have stand face to face (also outside) with this storm  in the heavy rain! I know I had to warfare against this enemy and to intercede! There came down  Hurricanes with gusty winds here in Lakeland and whole Florida; and we were in jeopardy! Again, the question of faith in God is before us. To have fear is to lack faith in God and His providence! We are send by God to Florida from West-Europe (Belgium) since 2001 "to be blessed" by Him; "to be a blessing for others"; with His Divine protection! Should He allow to destroy all our possession and give us severe damage instead of prosperity, which He promised to us by our sending out? After so long standing in Warfare you got very exhausted, very wet, but you have claimed the victory! Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4) Like Yeshua, I also arose against these hurricanes and rebuked the gusty winds and its power; and yes winds reduced their speed! Yes, no severe damage to our life's, home & office, in spite of winds from about 60--85 + more Miles/hour (?) (for about nearby 4 hours continually!). It is to Him all the glory! From Him we receive supernatural protection. In a vision we saw angels surrounding our home for protection. Honest, yes, I was afraid, there was a great distress and I was confused! But... after the Warfare, God really had changed me! Is it wrong to stand in the gab and be bold, in spite of your own emotions and feelings? Yes I have a life-time learning procession by God!
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivered him out of them all. (Psalm 34:19)  The Lord will hear the afflicted and save them, because He has mercy on them with sufficient grace! He will deliver them from fear and out of all their troubles! So God will be a refuge for them and remember their weakness!

Psalm 91

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;  Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. (Psalm 91:1-16) 

What God will do for those dwelling in the secret place and under His shadow of the Most High!

Y A refuge or hiding place
Y A fortress or place of protection
Y A trust, a place of security of a true and faithful God
Y Deliver from the snare of the fowler. (wicked men, fallen angels and demons set for the righteous)
Y Deliver from the noisome pestilence. (rushing calamity)
Y Cover with His feathers  & protect under His wings (figurative of protection and care!)
Y Make truth a shield and buckler to protect the vital parts of the body from the enemy’ weapon thrusts & arrows!
Y God shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways!

The results of abiding in secret place:

Y Not afraid of night terrors. (treasons, plunders, robbery, murders, evils, and diseases)
Y Not afraid of day arrows. (Figurative of dangers that come by day)
Y Not afraid of pestilences  
Y Not afraid of noonday destructions.
Y Though 1,000 fall at your left hand and 10,000 at your right, the destroyer does not come near you!

You see the wicked rewarded!

Regardless of what they are and when they come, the believer may, by dwelling in the secret place of the Most High, have 1,000 fall on his left side and 10,000 on his right without any coming near him. The only thing he may see is the result of plagues on the wicked!

Many are the promises of God. They cover every known need of life, here and hereafter, and reveal to what extent God has made provision to help man in his struggle to overcome sin, sickness, and satan, and regain the full dominion that he lost in Adam when he fell. The ultimate purpose of God in all His present dealings with man is to bring him back to the place where he was before the fall and purge him of all possibility of failing in the future!

This promises power over wild beasts and creeping things, as well as over all satanic powers symbolized by them!
