The prophet
is God's precious vessel!
Touch not mine
anointed,
and do my prophets
no harm. (Psalm 105:15)
The prophet
is a
precious vessel of God. His
words always bring hope and enrichment to the individual, congregation
and community. Through his connection with the Lord,
the prophet offers the individual a revelation and future destination in a
short-time moment. The experience for the listener is an opportunity to
let go of their past, their pain,
superficiality
and their
cynicism,
and just to accept the grace and love of God! The listener is made aware
that life-future- time enrichment is a Divine gift offered to them in an
short (to be accepted) opportunity!
Samuel established as a prophet of the Lord!
And all Israel
from Dan even to Beer-sheba knew that
Samuel
was established to be
a prophet
of the Lord. (1 Samuel 3:20)
All Israel was
conscious of the fact that
Samuel
was God's chosen leader in place of Eli and the priests. All in his family
were either under
Samuel,
the last judge. Israel turned to
Samuel. Samuel
was speaking as God's representative, giving comfort, faith, correction,
Judgment and assurance to a burdened soul! His own mother Hannah was a
prophetess!
It turned out to be a
prophecy
to Hannah was fulfilled!
(1 Samuel 1:19-23).
Samuel
spoke only as God inspired
him,
so every prediction was literally fulfilled! He gave only sound advice to
Israel, so all his counsels were received as coming from God! Samuel was
also the prophet who anointed David, the "future" king of Israel! (Picture

Precious
in God's sight!
Since thou were precious
in my sight, thou hast been honorable, and I have loved thee: therefore will
I give men for thee, and people for thy life. (Isaiah 43:4)
Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls
are continually before me. (Isaiah 49:16)
This is a figurative way of saying that God would never forget His people
and that they would be in everlasting remembrance before Him! It was the
Prophet Isaiah
who brought this message, inspired by God and
was speaking as God's representative
Prophet,
giving comfort, and assurance to a burdened soul of the Israelites!
The prophet
was used as a precious vessel from God! Precious for God and
precious for the people who received his message! He that had an ear let him
hear what God is still saying through His
prophets today!
