Facts about the Word of God!

1. That The Bible (Scripture) IS the Word of God, not that it merely CONTAINS the Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:16-21). For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

1. Quick.  (Hebrews 4:12; Acts 10:42; 2 Tim. 4:1; 1 Peter 4:5;
2. Powerful. (effectual) (1 Corinthians  16:9; Philemon 1:6)
3. Sharper than any two-edged sword
4. Piercing even to divide asunder of soul and spirit
5. Dividing the joints and marrow
6. Discerning the thoughts
7. Discerning the intents of the heart

Piercing through the body and laying open the innermost recesses of the soul (feelings, passions, desires, appetites) and mind (thoughts and intents of the innermost being).

A Creative God!

2. That God created all material and spiritual substance out of which He personally formed the worlds and each creature therein (Genesis 1:1; Genesis 2:7,19; Psalm 8:1-9; Psalm 102:25; John 1:3-4; Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 1:15-18; Hebrews 1:1-3; Rev. 4:11).

God created man in His Own image...

3. That God created man in His own image and likeness in one day, fully mature and highly intelligent—not that he descended from molecules through the lower forms of life to monkey and man (Genesis 1:26-28; Genesis 2:7,19; Genesis 9:6; Acts 17:26; 1 Corinthians 11:7-9; James 3:9).

God created Angels and spirit beings...

4. That all angels and spirit beings were created by God fully mature and intelligent (Psalm 104:4; Ezekiel 28:15; Colossians 1:15-18; Rev. 4:11).

God created...

5. That God created man, animals, fish, fowl, and plants to reproduce themselves after their own kind (Genesis 1:20-31; Genesis 2:5-7,19-25).

Yeshua, the Messiah is the only begotten Son of God!

6. That Yeshua, the Messiah or Jesus Christ is the Son of God in a sense that no other man is—the only begotten of the Father—not a Son of God in the sense that all human beings are (Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 7:14; Isaiah 9:6-7; Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:34-35; John 1:18; John 3:16; Phil. 2:5-11; 1 Tim. 3:16; Hebrews 1:1-3,8; Rev. 1:8-11).

The Divine Trinity!

7. That the Holy Spirit is a Person, separate and distinct from both the Father and the Son. All three Persons have their own personal body, soul, and spirit and make the Divine Trinity (1 John 5:7). A clear reference to a Trinity of separate and distinct Persons:

1.The Father spoke from heaven.
2.The Son was on earth praying to the Father in heaven.
3.The Holy Spirit descended from the Father out of heaven to anoint and endow with power the Son upon the earth

(Isaiah 11:1; Isaiah 42:1-5; Isaiah 48:16; Isaiah 61:1; Luke 4:16-18; Acts 10:38; 1 John 5:7). For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (1 John 5:7)  What we mean by Divine Trinity is that there are three separate and distinct persons in the Godhead, each one having His own personal spirit body, personal soul, and personal spirit in the same sense each human being, angel, or any other being has his own body, soul, and spirit. We mean by body, whether a spirit body or a flesh body, the house for the indwelling of the personal soul and spirit. The soul is that which feels and the spirit is that which knows.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (Matthew 28:19)
And the
Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art My beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. (Luke 3:22)

The supernatural birth of Yeshua, the Messiah!

8. That the birth of Christ was supernatural, not natural as that of all other men. He was born of a virgin and by the Holy Spirit, without a human father (Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 7:14; Isaiah 9:6-7; Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:34-35; John 1:1-14; John 3:16-18; 1 Tim. 3:16; Hebrews 1:1-3).

The death of Yeshua, the Messiah!

9. That the death of Christ was expiatory, not exemplary. He died for all human beings. His blood is the only atonement for sin and by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53; Matthew 1:21;8:17; 26:28; John 3:16; Acts 4:12; Romans 8:3; 1 Corinthians 1:18-24;  5:7; Hebrews 1:3; Hebrews 2:9-18; Hebrews 9:11-28; Hebrews 10:5-29; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 John 2:1-2; Rev. 1:5; Rev. 5:8-10).

The resurrection of Yeshua, the Messiah!

10. That Yeshua, the Messiah or Jesus Christ rose bodily from the dead, not spiritually. He is alive forevermore in His earthly, resurrected flesh-and-bone body and represents people before God as their High Priest and Savior (Luke 24:39; John 10:17-18; Acts 1:3,11; Acts 2:22-34; Acts 4:10-12; Romans 1:4; Romans 8:11; 1 Corinthians 15; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-16; Philippians 3:20-21; Revelation 1:18; Zechariah 13:6).

2-sd Advent of Yeshua, the Messiah!

11. That Yeshua, the Messiah or Jesus Christ ascended into glory bodily and will come again in like manner to rule the world eternally, putting down all rebellion and restoring man's dominion and God's kingdom as before the fall (Luke 24:50-52; Acts 1:11; 1 Corinthians 15:24-28; Ephesians 1:10; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10; Jude 1:14; Revelation 19:11-21;20-22; Zech. 14).  So that man can carry out his original assignment of helping God administer the affairs of the universe!

Man is a sinner fallen from original righteousness!

12. That man is not an unfortunate victim of his environment, but a sinner fallen from original righteousness—a high, intelligent and responsible place as head of the present creation. Apart from God's redemption grace is lost~! (Genesis 3; John 3:16; Romans 3:23-25; Romans 5:12-21; Hebrews 1:1-3; Hebrews 7:25; Hebrews 9:22; 1 John 1:9; 1 John 2:1-2; Revelation 1:5; 5:8-10; 20:11-15).

Man “thinks” there are many ways to get into heaven...???

13.That man is justified by faith in the atoning blood of Yeshua, the Messiah or Jesus Christ, resulting in a supernatural regeneration from above (Matthew 1:21; Matthew 18:3; John 3:1-8,16; Romans 5:1; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 2:8-9; Col. 1:14,20; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 1:18-23). He is not justified by works or self-effort and the natural development from within. Man “thinks” there are many ways to get into heaven...???

Good works? Follow the 10 Commandments? Be nice? Do not hurt anybody? Avoid committing crimes?
Trying to be better than most people? Give to charity? Be religious? Be sincere? Be helpful?

The gift of God is eternal life in Yeshua, The Messiah
or Christ Jesus our Lord

The trouble with all these ways is that they depend on people and worldly system. But none of us is perfect. We can’t keep all the rules all the time. We all fail and so we can never be sure that we have done enough to earn our place in heaven. In fact the harder we try, the more we realize what our imperfections are. So He offers it to us as a free gift. Since ETERNAL LIFE is a free gift, like all genuine gifts, IT IS NOT EARNED OR DESERVED, and no amount of personal effort, good works or religious deeds can earn a place in heaven for you. “By grace you have been saved through faith and that NOT OF YOURSELVES; it is the gift of God, NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8, 9). No gift can be paid for or be earned or deserved. The same is true for eternal life. It is not earned or deserved. God refuses any payment for it because He offers it to all men as a gift. In fact it is an insult to try and pay for it. It can only be received on a free gift basis.

Why can no one earn their way to heaven? It is because MAN IS A SINNER! The Bible makes it clear that we are all guilty in the sight of God, for: “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Our own experience tells us that we often fail to come up to our own standards, let alone God's standard of perfection. “The GIFT of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23). Eternal life is a free gift (Romans 5:15-18; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 10:28). People merit hell, but not eternal life.  Yeshua, the Messiah or Jesus Christ alone procured it and gives it freely to all who believe (John 3:16; John 6:27; Romans 3:24).

Forgiveness

Forgiveness of sin is one of the constituent parts of justification. In pardoning sin, God absolves the sinner from the condemnation of the law and that on account of the work of Christ, i.e. he removes the guilt of sin, or the sinner's actual liability to eternal wrath on account of it.

All sins are forgiven freely. The sinner is by this act of grace forever freed from the guilt and penalty of his sins. It is offered to all in the gospel.

Ephesians 1:7

Our sins are forgiven

Acts 5:31

So their sins would be forgiven

Acts 13:38

In Jesus there is forgiveness

1 John 1:7

Jesus cleanses us from every sin

Matthew Luke 6:37  6:14-15

If you forgive, you will be forgiven

Matthew 18:21-22

Forgive seventy times seven

Colossians 3:13

Forgive as Jesus forgave you

Luke 6:37

If you forgive others, you will be forgiven

1 John 1:9

He is faithful and just to forgive us

Degenerated!

14. That man, animals, and plant-life have degenerated and are under a curse. Man chooses to continue in sin, sickness, and the sufferings of the earth. Only through redemption in Yeshua, the Messiah or Jesus Christ will the whole creation be restored to original perfection and goodness (Genesis 3; Genesis 6:5-22; Romans 5:12-21; Romans 8:17-24; 1 Corinthians 15:24-28; 2 Peter 3:7-13; Rev. 21:1-22:5). No single species has evolved from a lower to a higher plane of life.

People who accept Yeshua, the Messiah!

15. That all people who accept Christ and conform to God's plan for man will be saved and resurrected from the dead to immortality to help God administer the affairs of the universe forever (John 3:16; John 5:28-29; Romans 8:17-24; 1 Corinthians 6:2; 15:1-54; 2 Timothy 2:12; Rev. 1:6; Rev. 2:26-27; Rev. 5:10; Rev. 11:15; Rev. 22:4-5).

People who reject Yeshua, the Messiah!

16. That all people who reject Yeshua, the Messiah or Jesus Christ and do not conform to God's plan will pay the eternal death penalty for sin, being resurrected to immortality and punished eternally in the lake of fire! (Mark 16:15-16; John 3:16-20; John 5:28-29; Rev. 14:9-11; Rev. 20:11-15; Rev. 21:8; Rev. 22:15). Any denial of God or His plan for man in Scripture makes Him a liar, and damns the soul. If some through ignorance of the Bible think they can believe in evolution and the Bible at the same time, they are highly deceived by Satan, the deceiver of the world (2 Corinthians 4:3-4;  11:14-15; Revelation 12:9). One cannot know the statements of both the Bible and evolutionists and believe both, nor can he be neutral. He must take a stand either for God and the Bible or for evolution and guesses!

 Personal Relationship with God!

17. God wants us to have a close personal relationship with Him and to experience His ABUNDANT LIFE both now and for all eternity! Worshipping Him in spirit and in truth!

What is sin?

18. Sin is anything that displeases God and transgresses His law. It is not only crimes like murder, rape or robbery. There are sins in DEED, for instance: cheating, losing our temper, stealing and immoral behavior; and sins in WORD such as lying, gossiping, cursing and swearing; as well as sins in thought such as lust, pride, bad thoughts and hatred. Sins of COMMISSION are things we do that we should not. As well as these, there are sins of OMISSION, such as failing to love God, to pray to Him and worship Him, as well as failing to love our neighbor as ourselves. All these sins show that each of us is a sinner by nature and undeserving of eternal life in heaven. This means that YOU CANNOT SAVE YOURSELF!!! No amount of good works, religious rituals or trying hard will impress God enough to allow you into heaven. You cannot earn your way into heaven!
“By grace you have been saved through faith and that NOT OF YOURSELVES; it is the gift of God, NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8, 9)

The Seven Steps in Man's (Adam) Fall:

1 Doubting God's Word (Genesis 3:1)
2 Adding to and misquoting God's Word (Genesis 3:2-3)
3 Contradicting God's Word (Genesis 3:4; cp. Ezekiel 18:4; 20-24; Romans 6:16-23; Romans 8:1-13; 1 Corinthians 3:16-17; 1  6:9-11; Galatians 5:19-21; 6:7-8; 2 Timothy 2:12; James 2:9-10)
4 Misinterpretation of God's Word (Genesis 3:5)
5 The temptation to transgress God's Word (Genesis 3:6; 2 Corinthians 11:3; 1 Tim. 2:14)
6 Transgression of God's Word (Genesis 3:6)
7 The results of transgressing God's Word (Genesis 3:6-19; Romans 5:12-21; James 1:13-15)

What Man Lost in the Fall:

1 Spiritual, physical, and eternal life (Isaiah 59:2; Romans 5:12-21; Ephesians 2)
2 Communion with God (Isaiah 59:2)
3 Fellowship with animals (Genesis 9:2)
4 His full dominion over all things (including the affairs of the universe!) (Psalm 8)
5 Freedom from satan (John 14:30; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Ephesians 6:10-18; Rev. 12:9)
6 Perfect God-consciousness (Genesis 2:25; Genesis 3:7)
7 Full power to do good (Genesis 6:5-7; Romans 7)
8 Perfect self-control (Ephesians 2; Galatians 5)
9 The right to tree of life (Genesis 3:22-24)
10 His garden home (Genesis 2:15; Genesis 3:22-24)
11 God's glory (Romans 3:23)
12 Righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:22-24)
13 Perfect health (Genesis 3:16-19; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24)
14 All benefits of perfect union with God (Revelation 21:1-7; 22:1-3)

Conscience of man

The purpose of this order is to promote love from a clean heart, from a good conscience and from sincere trust
(
1 Timothy. 1:5 Jewish NT; David H. Stern)
Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
(1 Timothy. 1:5 K JV-Dake’s)
Conscience
: joint knowledge of God and man; knowledge of our acts, state, or character as to right and wrong; the faculty, power, or principle which decides the lawfulness of our actions and affections, and approves or condemns them; the moral faculty or sense; consciousness of actions; the eye, judge, and guide of the inner man.

Examples of Conscience:

Awakened (John 8:9)
Seared (1 Timothy 4:2)
Purged (Hebrews 9:9, 14; 10:2)
Pure (Acts 24:16; 1 Timothy 3:9; 2 Timothy 1:3)
Weak (1 Corinthians 8:7, 12, 13)
Defiled (Titus 1:15)
Witnessing (Romans 2:12-15; 9:1; 2 Corinthians 1:12)
Good (Acts 23:1; 1 Tim. 1:5, 19; 1 Peter 2:19; 3:16, 21; Hebrews 13:18)
Convicting or healthy (Matthew 27:3)
Satisfied (1 Corinthians 10:25-29)
Evil (Hebrews 10:22)
Perfect (Hebrews 9:9)

Man was tested

Man was tested to see if he would obey his own conscience regarding right and wrong. (Genesis 6:1-7; Romans 2:12-16). There were no written laws. The Ten Commandments weren't given to Adam! His only law was not to eat the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; after being driven out of the garden he didn't even have that law (Romans 5:12-14). This was the Age of Freedom, for man was free to do as he pleased until it became necessary for God to interfere.

The purpose of God:

His purpose now, since man knew good and evil, was to guide him in the proper exercise of his conscience to do the right and refuse the wrong; to teach fallen man that only by obedience to God could he be restored to his original dominion and get rid of the curse; and to test man under freedom of conscience without restraint or compulsion to see if he would voluntarily choose right from wrong and serve God instead of satan! If voluntary righteousness was rejected, God would add laws and punishments to enforce obedience for man's own good! He wanted man to see that in his fallen state he could not choose the best good himself, was powerless to cope with the fallen angels and demons with whom he had now entered into voluntary union through sin, and who sought his eternal damnation. God wanted man to be brought to helplessness in himself so that he would turn to Him for help, grace, and power against sin, satan, fallen angels, demons, sickness, and suffering in the struggle to overcome the curse.

He wanted man to know He was the only true friend and helper, and that only through Him was there a way out of sin and the curse, and an opportunity for restoration to original dominion!

Judgment for sin!
(Genesis 3:14-19, 23-24)

Because of his sin, man reaped sickness, pain, sorrow, misery, condemnation, death, loss of soul, fellowship and union with satan and demons, an inferior position, power to do and be evil, a life of self-gratification, unclean lusts and habits, unbelief, separation from God, hardships, sufferings, hell, eternal damnation, and other curses too numerous to mention. He became depraved (Romans 1), darkened (Ephesians 4:18), blind in mind (2 Corinthians. 4:4), defiled in conscience (Hebrews 10:22), obstinate and rebellious (Isaiah 28:14; Romans 8:1-13), lustful (Ephesians 2:1-3), evil continually (Genesis 6:5), full of abominations (Jeremiah 17:9; Mark 7:19-21; Romans 1:18-32; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Galatians 5:19-21; Col. 3:5-10) and lost—making all his offspring, with all their faculties, sinful by nature (Romans 5:12-21; Ephesians 2:1-3) and children of the devil by choice and practice (John 8:44; Corinthians 4:4; Ephesians 2:1-3; 1 John 3:8-10). A process of DE-generation!

Six Great Curses on Creation:

(1)        Upon the serpent (Genesis 3:14-15)
(2)        Upon satan (Genesis 3:15; Romans 16:20)
(3)        Upon the woman (Genesis 3:16)
(4)        Upon the man (Genesis 3:17-19; Romans 5:12-21)
(5)        Upon the earth (Genesis 3:17-19)
(6)        Upon all creation (Genesis 3:14-19; Isaiah 65:25; Romans 8:19-23)

To be an “Elect's” of God!

And shall not God avenge His Own Elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? (Luke 18:7)
When you chose to have faith & trust in God and surrender your life to Him only! Anyone chosen of God at any time, Jew or Gentile, is the elect of God (Romans 9:11; Romans 11:5, 7, 28; 1 Thessalonians 1:4; 1 Peter 5:13; 2 Peter 1:10). All men are called to become God's elect or chosen ones and can be if they will choose God (Matthew 11:28-30; 20:16; John 1:12; 3:16-20; 6:37; Ephesians 1:4; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; James 2:5; 1 Timothy 2:4; 2 Peter 3:9; Revelation. 17:14; 22:17).
1.         Yeshua, the Messiah or the Christ (Isaiah 42:1; 1 Peter 2:6)
2.         All Christians (Romans 8:33; Colossians 3:12; Titus 1:1; John 15:16; Ephesians 1:4; 2:10; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 John 1:1, 13)
3.         Israel (Isaiah 45:4; 65:9, 22; Matthew 24:21-31; Mark 13:22,27; 1 Peter 1:2)
4.         Angels (1 Tim. 5:21)

Explanation of "Faith"

The word "believeth" denotes the act and process of “faith”! This use of the present tense indicates that faith must be continued in to receive its benefits
1. To be persuaded of…
2. Place confidence in…
3. The substance or conviction of things hoped for, the assurance of things not seen!
4. Absolute dependence upon and reliance in the Word of God and of
Christ
5. Full surrender, yieldedness, and obedience to all known truth
6. Trust wholly and unreservedly in the faithfulness of God
7. Give one's self over to a new way of life
8. The attribute of God & restored faculty of man whereby both can bring into existence things that are unseen
9. The whole body of revealed truth
10. Joyful faith in, and acceptance of
Christ as the substitute for sin and our Savior whereby one receives salvation!

* Except!

1. Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish (Luke 13:1-5).
2. Except ye become converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 18:3).
3. Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3; 1 John 2:29; 3:8; 5:1-14, 18).
4. Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God (John 3:5).
5. Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you (John 6:53).
6.
Except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:20).
7. Except ye abide in Me ... he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned (John 15:4-6).
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3)

* God and Man Contrasted

God delays from an all-wise purpose, depending on what is asked or whether one has faith or not (Hebrews 11:6; James 1:5-8). If it is something that is promised only for the next life, then the delay is clear from Scripture. If it is something promised in this life, then refuse to give up until it is received (Matthew 17:20; 21:22; Mark 9:23; 11:22-24).

A weak thing to rely upon...

A weak thing to rely upon!  (Mark 10:24; Philippians 3:4; 1 Timothy 6:17).  Millions trust themselves, some religion, a denomination, secret order, lodge, or program and despise all others who do not have the "same faith" or belong to "their" order!? Thus they were growing in laws, in organizations etc., …but not in grace!?

God's provision of redemption!

God promised a Redeemer who would come and restore man's dominion! (Genesis 3:15-21; Isaiah 53; Matthew 1:21; 26:28; Ephesians 1:7). ......(More will follow!)
